This 20 week program is designed to build the proper conditioning to complete a 50K or 50 Mile race. Weekend runs will take place on trail courses throughout Marin and showcase the best of what the area has to offer. The midweek workouts  are San Francisco based and consist of running drills mixed with core exercise to DSC05135develop a strong body. Our groups develop strength, stamina, and most importantly, friendships. Why are our programs different?

We provide top fitness professionals with deep trail and ultramarathon experience, who love our area trails, and want to share the experience of the Headlands, Mt. Tamalpais, Muir Woods, Pt. Reyes, and beyond with you.

Each week we run from different trailheads, keeping our groups stimulated and excited to learn new terrain. Coaches run with the group instead of waiting for you at the start/finish area, and are available resources throughout the day as they often crisscross the route to touch base with each participant. Using custom maps and trail markings, each week is more of an exploration for the participants than rote training.

Another point of differentiation is our approach to a midweek workout. Corporate training programs will offer a midweek tempo run and send you on your way. Not us. We have developed a progression of drill work based on common running weaknesses and focus on strength requirements to increase our success rate and keep people healthy.  We also provide restorative yoga sessions to help reduce common runner injuries.

These are far from “cookie cutter” or formulaic training programs.
